Planetary Peace and Freedom

Planetary peace and freedom seems impossible—as long as topics 1 to 5 have not been effectively implemented.
Global peace and freedom demand from us to be ready for a deliberate evolutionary step, which can only be a common act of utmost mutuality, concern and cautiousness. Peace and freedom can only be established through their own means, which are peace and freedom. But even the softest change—if thorough— affects those fellow citizens as well, whose idealism is deeply rooted in their well founded interest in keeping everything as it is. How shall we deal with those fellow manifestations of the cosmic field, without falling back into old habits, mindsets and metaphors, which contradict our proud and noble concepts of a new global culture?
If we conceive ourselves as expressions of the cosmic information field—how do we as such fields “defend” ourselves?
As a first evolutionary step we should stimulate the great religions to ban or at least reformulate the many hostile, aggressive, discriminating and fear-causing words and phrases in their most holy scriptures. The public debate of such a proposal alone could work miracles in detecting and eradicating some of the strongest and most fatal metaphors that still control the consciousness of most of mankind.
One of our next projects will be an inter-religious conference held in spring 2008 in Jerusalem under the auspices of the Dalai Lama with the goal of supporting a parliament of religions in order to avoid misuse of their beliefs. We will be partner of the Jerusalem Peace Academy.
